Some Secrets Get Buried. Others Get Buried Alive.
Former prison warden turned private investigator Jack Marconi thinks he’s simply proving yet another case of an unfaithful wife. Instead, he stumbles into a ruthless conspiracy where corrupt lobbyists, Russian mob enforcers, political power, and millions of dollars collide in bloodshed.
When witnesses start disappearing and bodies are buried beneath the foundations of a massive Adirondack casino project, Marconi becomes the next target. Armed with only his instincts, his Colt .45, and a stubborn refusal to back down, he’ll have to expose the truth before he becomes a permanent part of the concrete foundations.
Fast-paced, gritty, and packed with razor-sharp dialogue, shocking twists, dark humor, and relentless action, The Naked and the Damned is a hard-boiled thriller that proves some crimes are never meant to stay buried. For fans of Michael Connelly, Reed Farrel Coleman, Robert B Parker, and hard-boiled mystery, suspense and pulp fiction. $0.99 on Kindle.
