Magret, a raiding mountain barbarian woman from a savage tribe called the Eira’a, tells her enemy, the ‘Red Cloak’ Theo of Kilburg, as he waits for his death blow to send him into eternity. She then takes him back to the mountains, not as her slave but as her Chosen, her life mate.
