Trojan

Trojan

US White House cybersecurity expert Victor Walker was swept away from his wife Helen at the White House ball and rushed by secret service agents to the home of the vice president. The VP lay dead with his homebased classified laptop possibly breached. The dread that top secret intel could now be in the hands of an unknown enemy was quickly overshadowed when suddenly and without warning, all the defense armament systems for which Victor was responsible crashed, a complete meltdown. Star Wars, Air Force One and Doomsday Briefcase, were all rendered useless. Someone had specifically targeted America’s nuclear defense and early warning systems capabilities. Who’d committed the offense? An independent individual, a terrorist organization or a foreign government? He’d never seen or heard of anything like it, not in all his years working for the military and federal government. The fact that all nuclear armament systems across all of DoD simultaneously crashed, led him to believe they were dealing with an inside job, with a Trojan, with a friendly who could be assisting a hostile enemy. And just when things couldn’t get any worse, Victor, along with his wife Helen and daughter Tiffany were kidnapped and taken hostage. The culprits wanted access to his secret Thor application, a program he was in the final stages of designed on that he developed to specifically ID and thwart this type of breach. He had to figure out a way for he and his family to escape. It was a forgone conclusion that a major pending act of terrorism was imminent. And worst of all, his gut told him the author of the armament systems meltdown was operating out in plain sight of the president and his staff. $0.99 on Kindle.
